Who is Drew?

I’m an Economics graduate from Loyola Marymount University, focused on bridging the gap between business and passion, logistics and creativity. As an A&R in the music industry I focus on scouting talent that aids to the trajectory and vibe of the label, as well as enabling the talent that is already signed through my experience as an A&R Intern at The System/The Orchard.

I co-host an entertainment podcast- @tripletakepodcast, where I primarily focus on artist interviews and ideas for content creation.

Lastly, I write for Strike Magazine- Los Angeles branch, where I put my current thoughts about the music landscape on display. I have several articles that are published on that site, and I have a page linked to their site on my website.

I love music, so I try to encompass my life with things that benefit the spread- both monetarily and logistically with the packaging and consumption of the good.

What is the purpose of this blog?

Serving both as a portfolio and a passion project, this blog has become a platform to explore and share insights on business, artistry, ownership, and growth, all in one place. With the goal of advancing as a professional in the industry- I use this as a mirror, to reflect my current progress and the current climate of the industry..
